Tired of Always Fixing Yourself? Here’s Another Layer of Truth About Real Personal Growth
For most of my adult life, I’ve been in a relentless pursuit of fixing myself.
Fixing a thought.
Fixing a pattern.
Fixing a wound.
Fixing a result I didn’t like.
At any given moment, you could find me scanning for something broken. Something that needed work. Some gap to close. Some flaw to correct.
I was living in what you might call a full-blown fix-it mindset. And honestly? It was exhausting. Classic healing fatigue.
While I’ve gathered powerful tools along the way which I’m SO grateful for - therapy, books, courses, journaling, mentors - I recently had a realization that stopped me in my tracks:
I’ve been investing all my energy in fixing, but not in fostering.
I’ve barely touched the other side of myself:
My intuition.
My gifts.
My voice.
My vision.
My brilliance.
It hit me like a wave - I’ve built my entire personal development practice around self-surveillance. Around the assumption that I’m not quite right yet. That I need work. That I’m a never-ending project.
But what if I’m not?
What if it’s time to stop fixing myself - and start trusting myself instead?
Could this be true for you also?
What if there’s a portal within me - not an endless pit of flaws to fix - but to deep internal truth, inner wisdom, and gifts that are just waiting to be remembered?
So I’m shifting.
Instead of investing only in healing, I’m choosing to invest in expression, in my gifts and talents.
Instead of constantly repairing the cracks, I’m letting light pour through them.
Instead of tracking every wound, I’m tracking every whisper of my inner voice.
This is my self-trust journey, and it started in early 2024.
I’m learning that internal harmony isn’t just about making peace with my shortcomings.
It’s also about nurturing the power and gifts that already live inside me.
It’s the difference between self-healing vs self-growth.
Healing isn’t fixing.
Fixing isn’t the only way forward.
This is intuitive healing. A mindset shift for personal growth.
This is the work I’m doing now - opening the internal portal and letting my next chapter come from that place.
A place rooted in subconscious reprogramming, in clearing limiting subconscious beliefs that say I’m not enough.
And the beautiful thing is, you can do this too.

If this resonates, you might want to explore this shift in your own life. Here are a few prompts to guide your reflection:
Where have I been in “fixing” mode lately?
What parts of me have I neglected because I’ve been focused on my flaws?

What might become possible if I focused on nurturing my brilliance, not just healing my wounds?
What does internal harmony mean to me now?
✨ Activation Suggestions
Here are a few simple ways to start shifting into this new energy:
Create a “Gifts List.” Write down 10 things you’re good at - not accomplishments, but innate qualities. (Ex: I’m a deep listener. I create safety for others. I see patterns. I have sharp instincts.)
Celebrate yourself daily. Each night, ask: “What did I express or embody today that felt like *me at my best*?”
Say this out loud:
”I am not a project to fix - I am a portal to power.”
Put it on a sticky note. Make it your phone background. Let it live in your bones.
🧠 How Hypnotherapy Can Help
This kind of shift - from self-surveillance to self-source - is deep. And while journaling, reflection, and awareness are powerful, sometimes we need help accessing the subconscious patterns that keep us stuck in old loops.
That’s where hypnotherapy comes in.
Hypnotherapy gently guides you into a deeply relaxed, focused state where your subconscious mind becomes more accessible. In that space, we can:
Identify the root beliefs that fuel your fixation on fixing
Reprogram old stories of unworthiness or perfectionism
Strengthen your connection to your intuition and gifts
Plant new, empowering beliefs that support your expansion
It’s not about swinging a pendulum or barking like a chicken. (Promise.)
It’s about helping you tap into the deeper truth of who you are - so you can move forward with clarity, trust, and internal harmony.
💬 Final Thought
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
Your next level won’t come from grinding to fix yourself - it will come from opening the portal within.
